Video games have taken a huge leap forward on screen and we’re celebrating the genre with a closer look at over 50. Clive Standen will reprise his role as the voice of Demetrius Titus, the protagonist of the space-based video game. Marine 2.
I really enjoyed this show!
The episode takes place after the events of the game mentioned in Film Junk Podcast: Episode 973: Carry-On (2024). I was really disappointed when I saw the critics saying that this show was only halfway through its season. I watched it and all I can say is that most of the critics are wrong. The episodes can be long, which is honestly my only complaint.
It’s also a quick watch
If you like video games, this show is a must-see. Now I want to go watch some of these games after watching their episodes. I think the whole point of Secret Level is to bring in new players, and I think they did that. A lot of the episodes also had heart, which I loved.
I really wish they were all at least 20 minutes long
Hopefully this show is good enough to warrant a 2nd season. If they do 2 seasons, the only thing they need to improve is the length of the episodes. Overall though, I’m grateful to have had this show because video games mean a lot to a lot of people, myself included. Thank you to everyone who worked hard to bring us this show.
